Post-holiday blues

went down to batam during the good friday weekend.
it was a quick 3 days.
horrible exp hotel food and horrendous shopping malls they have!
transport is damn expensive !
but surprisingly i still miss the place..
i guess its cause the resort was relaxing
waking up to the view of the beach & just sitting at the balcony was lovely.
channel-surfing and fashiontv-ing ! i like
best part of all,JR n i stayed up one night to watch Twilight, sighs!


not forgetting the lovely company-8 of us went.
i tried playing banana boat for the first time and I LOVE IT !!
im thinking when can i go back to play again.
damn fun getting capsized all drenched and floating in the middle of the sea
and the nonstop laughter :)

we had bbq buffet dinner during the 2nd night after splashing ard in the pool.
the food was alright,best we had in batam..
cawley literally ate all the longans there,amazed the rest!

spendthrift

ever since moving to Hitachi, the shopaholic syndrome kicked in.
in order to keep myself motivated to go to work
i had this crazy thought to NOT wear the same outfit as long as i can.
this caused me to search for new tops/skirts/bottoms/shoes/bags.
with crazy shopaholic colleagues who buys 3 pairs of shoes each time doesnt help!

every night bfore i slp i would "formulate" my outfit (the only formula i love)
it's exciting yes!
but my bank account is looking pathetic.
ive been taken victim of the terrible credit card addiction.
swipe swipe swipe!



The ultimatum was when i did a "Lunchtime Getaway"
Departing Hitachi at 12noon
Arriving at Marina Sq via Citylink at 12.15

First stop - Charles & Keith Signature Store,Citylink
(such a huge wonderful store but didnt have my size!)
Second Stop - Bysi, Citylink
Last stop - Charles & Keith , Marina Sq for souvenirs.

i was there to collect the above peeptoe bootie but ended up with something extra.
The moment i stepped out of the store i was filled with horror!
i had to stop !

i've sent out SMS warnings to those around me to stop me from shopping.
put myself on a month-long ban for shopping and keeping myself away fr town.
i am doing well, and i need to clear my debts :(

till then... i'll miss you Charles & Keith/Bysi/Heatwave/Far East/Bugis!

Labour Day

we spent our night at Pheng's.
a break from spending the night away outside rotting

Some sweet Moscato wine (yes we are not wine connoisseurs)
Watching ChannelNewsAsia and turning all news into jokes
Pictionary - keith yr drawing sucks
and midnight MacDelivery

we need more excitement in our life.. this is a good beginning.
